TUI cruiseships, "it´s a small world"

TUI cruiseships bought two of my works from "it´s a small world" and commissioned me for another one. all in all there are three big pieces which according to the employees of the ship, were the most popular works of art onboard
"It´s a small world", Akershus Kunstnersenter, Norway, 2008

This was a collaboration between me and the Norwegian clothes-designer, Mette Møller. We had a room within a group-exhibition called 9 ROM. Mette had made clothes from a pattern created by Commando Group
which inspired me to cast hundreds of little model-train people into silver and mount them on pins. Some were mounted onto the clothes, like little skiers and fishermen, while others were mounted on panoramic borders from different cities covering all four walls. The borders were made by my favourite wallpaper company, extratapete

"sometimes it snows in April..", RAM galleri, Norway 2007

A collaboration with clothes-designer Mette Møller. We worked on almost everything together creating 6 dresses and 6 blouses with hundreds of little metal/jewellery objects sown onto the fabric. We wanted to melt the two art-forms together. In addition I made two panoramas from extratapete, with 50 broches in silver and resin attached, which blended in with the background.
We made a huge photowall on the endwall (extratapete) with a photo by Siren Lauvdal

"pluss-minus", Expo Arte, Norway 2003

My first solo exhibition, were I worked with magnetic jewellery to create jewellery you could mix and match as you wanted. The idea was to create jewellery which was easy to move around as I wanted people to rethink their use of jewellery on clothes and in fashion.
