Since I have a dark background from furniture-design some ten years ago or so, I always end up with the bigger building projects in our house. Last one out was this huge shelf, inspired by a smaller shelf made by my friend Vera Micaelsen and some great ones in my favourite bookstore; Tronsmo. I have eventually turned the blind eye and the deaf ear to the purists who are against screws in furniture, and made it in one day. Find out how high and deep you want the different shelves to be, (remember that 60 cm span without support is maximum) and go to your local DIY store and get them to cut everything up for you.Then go home and have fun!
