![]() For the fifth time we opened our homes and studios for the public, and hundreds of visitors came this year as well I always get the nerves before opening, but after ten minutes they started pouring in! The atmosphere was so nice with curious neighbors, friends and even people traveling across town and from other cities. They had to organize a queuing system for the "cast you own pewter-jewellery". The kids here has become very active during the open day, and some organized a campfire outside with sausages and "pinnebrød", what a hit! My kids had a "draw your own button" workshop, one sold ecological seeds, others homemade door decorations, buns and even our local newspaper "Trolltunposten" come out in time for the open day. I have so many talented neighbors, working in all different materials and techniques of the arts, and I hope the visitors appreciate that they can experience such variety from one studio to the next. Thye have already started to ask whether we will open again next year, and I guess we will:) Read more about our neighborhood and open day here Here are som snapshots done by a visitor Lars Aarønæs, I hardly left my space, surviving the day eating clementines and drinking coffee.
