After almost going nuts from all the sawing and filing of Secret Garden I decided to find out whether someone could help me out with this. I struck luck immideately, and found www.kmg.no; Karl M gustavsens Stansefabrikk, and old factory with all kind of modern equipment for punching out shapes and all kinds of metal workshop-machines. They decided that secret garden was too intricate for punching out, but that threadcutting would be ideal. Threadcutting is a thin wire which cuts with electricity, and it can cut up to 5 cm thick material at the time. It takes hours, but the result is amazing and there is no filing, just chuck it in the tumbler. So the other day i got back 50 sheets of silver which had been cut with all the shapes I need for Secret Garden before I go to the Jewellery fair in Copenhagen. I love industry!
