Vi som er med foreløbig: Carl Nesjar, Jørn Lang, Dina Hald, Mikkel Hald, Marianne Boberg, Irene Nordli, Hilde Vemren, Magne Rygh, Sylvia Antoniou, Hege Reinholt, Kaja Gjedebo og Kåre Bondesen. facebook-event Saturday the 18th of December, several of the artists here at Bøler open their workshops and studios for the public. My studio will be the centrepoint of action, with several stalls and a café with coffee and cakes. My shop is now working, thanks to the tip of a good friend, Hans Gerhard Meier http://www.posterboy.no/
The shop is made with bigcartel.com which really is both simple and cheap. Not as simple as weebly, buit then who can beat them? Sandra has done a fantastic job with the pictures, and I am just waiting for more.. but right now I ought to sleep, it´s just classical music playing on the radio and he just anounced that it was 2 o´clock at night. whoops! Today the RREC member´s guide 2011 is being launched at Goodwood House, the birthplace of Rolls Royce, and I am not there simply because I just don´t have the time nor money. But oh, it would have been nice with some champagne right now..
I guess I just have to sit and wait for my copy of it and enjoy reading the same book as really wealthy people:) My jewellery is featured over two pages in this hardback guide to excellence and luxury, can´t wait to see it in real life. I have had the pleasure to have Sandra Pfeiffer over today, a French photographer /artist now living in Norway. She was kind enough to take some product photos for my new webshop, but it is not really what she does. Visit her site, she has some great images, I just couldn´t remember my Flickr password right now to download some for you..
http://www.flickr.com/photos/sandrapicturing/ So thanks to Sandra I will start to out out products next week (22.11) ! working on these pendants at the moment, love this process. found some nice miniature animals to go within.
I never seem to learn, these bracelets take absolutely ages! but what a reward to see it finished!! mmm, to be viewed at Norway Designs Christmas show from Thursday on.. Friday I had a meeting with the girls running the first Oslo outlet og Hasla jewellery
http://hasla.no/ This great company is situated in the heart of the most national romantic part of Norway, Setesdal, and they are renowned for being one of the best makers of "bunadssølv", jewellery for the traditional norwegian folkcostume, bunad. Lately they have branched out into new designs, but with the craftmanship and traditions of where they come from. This Christmas they will also sell my jewellery alongside with their own collection, but this is a collaboration to be continued:) working on several projects at the moment on top of trying to fill up the shops before christmas.. but it´s fun!
