The other day I managed to get my all my goldplating done at Karoline Skottes workshop in Vibesgate in Oslo. It was the last hours before she went on holliday, so that was awfully nice of her. Karoline is both a goldsmith and a designer making her own jewellery and one off deShe is in a lovely shop / workshop toghether with a bunch of other very talented goldsmiths, and the shop is now one of the best places to buy jewellery in Oslo. see her website here.
I have tried and tried and I never manage to oxidize this beautiful. After seeing her jewellery at an exhibition at Akershus Kunstnersenter, I contacted her for some hints on how she gets her amazing surfaces. She was very open and helpful and shared all her knowledge on the subject. If I now manage to oxidize properly over the next days I will post the recipe here soon:)
Working into the late night to get everything finished for photo-session on Monday. Just realised 01 on the morning is not the best time for soldering.. tomorrow morning there is sandblasting and then goldplating
Found a great photographer, Mira Zahl, who is taking on the mission. http://cargocollective.com/mirazahl
