The closer to the exhibition I get, the more fantastic accidents I make and I just love this part of the process. The other day I had finished off and oxidized three pair of big earrings when they all broke off due to some dry soldering I hadn´t discovered, I was really pissed off and put them all aside so I could resolder them when I got the chance. When I took a glance on them later I realised they how beautiful they were stacked up like that; so I got my drill and hammer out and riveted them together into a ring. Love the result, just finished:)
The morale is: if everything works out just like you planned it is fine, but if it all goes haywire fantastic things can happen

This year the annual fundraising done by the NRK (national Norwegian broadcaster) will this year go to Norwegian People´s Aid and their work with practical landmine and cluster clearance, and their political advocacy work against these wapons. They are central participants in the work to develop and implement ban treaties against both landmines and cluster munitions.
I will be making a big necklace for one of the presenters, Haddy N´jie which will be actioned away during the show. It is such an honour to be able to contribute with my skills in this important cause, and I hope everyone will contribute with donations!
The necklace is made in silver with 4 big black pearls and some smaller black ones, the surface has been roughed up with different drill-bits and then oxidized. I will keep track of the process on my facebook-page
Remember to have cash ready at 23rd of October!

After days and weeks of papercutting, bending and sawing; my new collection is ready for production, and from September onwards it should be available for sale. It will be available in oxidized silver, whitened silver, gold and blackened gold.
