Went to a really nice exhibition yesterday at RAM galleri, close to the Modern Art museum in Oslo, Kongensgate. It was two textile artist who had collaborated, Synnøve Øyen and John K. Raustein. See link
I have been working as an artist and jewellery designer since 2002, and I love working with miniature collages where I layer images, figures and text in resin. I make cufflinks, braclets pendants and rings this way. These days I concentrate on shapes and forms and pearls, and am trying to move away from colour and resin for the time being. I have a soft spot for old East European graphic design and images and objects from 1930-60´s. I live and work in the outskirts of Oslo, right by the forest in an artist community.
